A Division of Keystone Dog Training

Nail Division

Ah... the dreaded nail trims.

Did you know that dogs can easily be trained to do their own nails?

That's right, no more worrying about cutting a nail too short.

Talk about a low stress experience for everyone.

Dogs who have had negative experiences with nail clippers in the past can learn to enjoy having their nails filed with a hand file or even a rotary tool.

These types of tools are excellent at reducing stress to us as owners, because the risk of hurting our dogs is reduced.

These resources will introduce you to new ways of keeping up with nail maintenance, as well as how to get your dog used to having their feet touched and their nails handled.
